in your basement indicates you have a fairly good size basement. I had an HO scale 2 1/2 mile to scale set up some years back with scenery etc. would have loved to been able to set up a track like yours. Back in the day ( the 60's) used to build and race cars at local track that were the size of supermarkets). Dearborn Speedway was the place to be as a kid, 4 huge tracks, six lanes each......ahhh the good old days....
Have fun with your new ride, looks like fun while stuck at home.
