is the restrictor necessary? I've been reading a large amount of back and forth over this topic with no one really coming to a conclusion on this. The restrictor is there to limit return flow, and from what I understand, the oil cooler only works at a fairly high oil pressure (+56psi I think??) so I'm assuming the only reason it's there is to give the oil more time to benefit from the oil cooler, right? Or can too much flow actually harm the engines ability to build oil pressure? TIA
