I used every last bit of the lube that comes in the kit in making sure the bushings were well covered. The marginal increase in stiffness (NO lower control arm bushings in ES "master kit") is more than made up for by what I perceived to be a much more crisp/precise feel to handling especially in transitions. Now I have heard about a lot of complaints about intolerable ride stiffness when people have gone the extra step further and installed the lower control arm bushings. Just based on my experience with the "master kit", I can't imagine why anyone would feel a need to install them.
