TT.net is a great place.. Relaxed.. a few squabbles.. no real flame wars ( Much ).. What I've noticed, is the people I run into here, don't have an agenda.. they just like the cars and are willing to share information.. I'm NA.. I have 3 of them.. Also a TT in a Box..( That makes Four ) The TT is comming together slowly.. but is more expensive than the NA.. But the TT's MOVE... so pick your poison.. My Advice.. Keep as much stock as posable.. 1) ECU Upgrade.. best bang for the Buck..$100 Prom, and ( Usually ) $100 to chip the ECU. 2) Light Weight Flywheel.. yes do it.. 3) Clutch only if you want the 'Crisper Feel'.. Stock is OK.. 4) My One piece Driveshaft that is in the 92 NA 2 seater SINGS.. the driveshaft has a 'Whine' from the gear noise being amplified by the shaft vibrating.. I'm thinking a coating of 'Rhyno Lining' will stop it.. but for that car, it's ok. 5) I'm not convinced that the 'Pop' Chargers are really that good.. I don't like the Pretend Air Filters they have.. That said, My two NA on the road presently have the Single Pop chargers.. the 3rd one going on the road in a few weeks will have a Stock Air Box.. and I want to run some Vacuum tests to check out Restrictions between the two systems.. 6) Exhausts are fun.. and get some HP .. however if don't like noise.. stay away.. My $0.02 Cj
