Got my android nav head unit working with Nissan data scan lite. Will buy the full version now that I confirmed it works. I bought a track electronics BT consult dongle that I planned to use to interface. It seemed to work with my phone but wasn't having any success pairing the BT with the head unit. It could see it just could never connect. So last ditch effort I plugged in my USB consult cable and it worked! I think USB will be more reliable anyway. I could connect my phone BT though, so can still use that for occasional hands free phone calls. This is one of the Chinese units from ebay. I don't have much time on the system but I think it will work out well for what I am wanting(navigation, mass music storage, cd, obd1 data display/dig). I made an external jack for USB drive and 3.5mm audio jack for music options in place of the stock clock. Here are some not so great cell phone pics:
