Message	I have had two sets aftermarket wheels in my car. You are indeed correct in that the studs are too short. I the current wheel set, The font nuts engage 10 turn or (at a pitch of 1.25/mm) 12mm, which 9s roughly 1/2 inch. In the rear, the hubs are thinner and the engagement is 5/8 of an inch. In both cases the nuts are not used entirely, which are 3/4 of an inch.
