Message	of pad and rotor thicknesses. Guess what happens as you use your pads, they get thinner, and the caliper pistons take up the slack. The only think to check after switching to a thinner rotor, all else being equal, is the fluid level in the master cylinder as it may drop a small amount. WARNING: I lack industry backing
