Every one of those pics shows blocks with much more webbing material than what exists in the VG30 block, and the VQ has four bolt mains. The inline motors have 7 main caps, we have 4. I'm not sure how else to say this, but the main caps are not the weakest link in the VG30 bottom end. What good are billet main caps if the block webbing fails? Billet main caps for the VG30 are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Again, to make this work, you need to distribute the load to minimize the stress on the webbing in the block. The only way to do this on the VG30 is a bedplate setup. The VG30 block needs something like this: Anything else is a wasted effort.
