Message	I'm not too impressed with Redline MT-90 and was thinking about going with a slightly lighter fluid. OP, that is certainly not a normal sound. I've used several lightweight flywheels and have never heard that sound. I wonder if you could have gotten a defective 1998+ transmission. Some are defective from the factory and experience gear noise. I almost bought a 1998 transmission but didn't want to take the risk. Good luck!
