Message I completely de-powered the rack and run the car with 285 tires upfront.

My experience is that, at a stop, it is extremely hard to turn the steering wheel.
At low speed it is manageable but still takes effort.
At higher speeds, it is alright.

The connection to the road feels much better but the steering wheel will also jerk violently if you hit a bump while in a turn. I sprained my wrist trying to correct the back when it kicked out.

In my case, having depowered the rack has decreased the driving experience both on the street and autocrossing.... Becomes too difficult to correct the car, steering speed is reduced, and the added load to the joints on the steering column is of concern.

Overall, I find it unsafe and would not recommend it
