Message you need one $100 map sensor. MAFS cost a lot more and so does the selin. I like the simplicity and flexability of MAP.

Its a myth that you need to retune the car with a change as small as a air filter with MAP. Fact is even with maf you need to retune if you make a big enough change. Case in point, more often than not you have to retune when you get bigger throttle bodies regardless of MAF or MAP. Actually you will notice a change in AF if you from single intake to dual intake in ADD mode even with the selin. sometimes you have to retune for that was well.

Sooo IMO I would rather go standalone and here is why >>>

The commonly recommended TUNABLE MAF solution costs...

Nistune hardware installed in ecu $350
Nistune license $200
WB O2 dual channel $375
Blitz boost controller $600
MAF x 2 (used) $200
Selin translator $270

Total is $1995

Standalone MAP solution >>>
Haltech pnp $1800
wb o2 dual channel $375
MAP sensor $100
AIT sensor $40
BC solenoid x 2 $200
Total is $2515

For that $500 you get better knock control, better logging, double the resolution and I daresay better boost control and expandability that nistune cannot touch. I would go MAP with todays solutions no question.
