work at a Ford/Nissan dealership. Actually sensors in the adaptor is no problem at all. Its a simple drill and tap situation.
Reason i want thermostat isnt so much the temperature aspect of it. Its more that when cold it bypasses the cooler and therfore builds oilpressure faster I got one of the glow shift adaptors as well as seen here. I figured as it was so cheap i would get one and use if everything else failed.
However upon inspection i found things i didnt like with it. Mainly the restricted oil passages in it. Maybe hard to see...
The old runmax has about 12 mm (sorry, im metric) all the way through both the fittings and inside the adaptor itself. The Glowshift one is no more than 8-9 mm inside. Doesnt sound much but the difference is huge in my opinion. No pont in AN10 lines and fittings when there is an AN6`ish restriction in the adaptor.
