Subject	3rd brake light led conversion and the dash warning light?

Message	I know there are guys who have converted the 3rd brake light in the spoiler to led. my question is, will that cause the common issue of the "lights" dummy light on the dash to light up when braking, as is experienced with improper incandescent bulbs that aren't the 13w Nissan. I'm assuming it would, so what would be the way to get around this? My plan was to run a 12v to 5v converter off the plug for the 3rd brake light, and then wire up a series of led's. Now I'm remembering this issue with the dash light.
