Sure, the seal can be recessed at different depths. If you place it incorrectly though, you will wind up with a gushing oil leak...

I'd say leave it alone at 60k unless it's original. If it's been replaced once in the last few years and you've only gone 60k, it's not worth the risk.

Most people change their clutch at 60k-100k anyway so tackle it on the next job.
