It's really odd. It might just be that I didn't properly torque down the check valves when I transferred them over, so they're bleeding the pressure needed. It has a very slight change in tone at idle, when it should normally die. I'll find out more once I tear into it. But I'm not exactly complaining about the torque haha. Still more torque than 95% of the NA VGs out there, even without the VTC functioning. And the flat torque curve is very nice.
