Message before I try it on my tt cluster. By far the best approach IMO would be to remove the coolant temp and fuel level gauges. That way, you can put your fingers through the void to push the clear cover away from the cluster. This is assuming your cluster is glued on. I removed mine pretty cleanly; only one tiny edge chipped off which is not visible when fully installed. And I didn't even apply heat or try to chip away any glue beforehand - if I would've done that, it might not have chipped at all.
