That seems like a lower price for a good paint job. Naturally, pearl paints are going to cost more, clear coat costs more, how many coats they put on... All these factor in. That being said, I have seen excellent standard paint jobs go for ~3k up to show level custom paint jobs at 10k. Have you seen any of their other work? Easiest way to tell what you will get. Check the door jams, trim, lights, wheel wells, etc for overspray, tape lines, mismatched panels, etc.
