more pressure is put onto the hose right at point of where the gear is on the clap the more you screw the gear. the 10mm springed assisted t-bolt clamp as pictured here
provides consistent clamping power equally around the whole surface of the clamp, unlike the worm gear type claps. this is why t-bolt clamps are a much better choice than any worm gear clamp. period. ps, not trying to cause a fight...just give information. sorry tony buddy, but breeze clamps !> t-bolt clamps. :) however, one of the downfalls of the sprung t-bolt clamps are the lengths of the bolt. this CAN be remedied by simply cutting (dremel) some of length off of the bolt where you are going to use the clamp. i have done this in many places and it works without a problem.
