Particularly in Bangkok where street vendors are in the tens of thousands, it is not uncommon to come across higher-end clothes that are priced at about 10-20% of what they are sold for in department stores here. This is simply because of the large garment industry in Thailand. Everyone is willing to make a dollar (or a few gusts baht), so production overruns are common, and the results are seen everywhere.
