Message	On my NA, when I did the coolant bypass I cut a small section of 5/16" hose, found a 1" long bolt that would thread (tightly) into the hose, covered the threads with RTV and threaded it in. Then I installed that with hose clamps (one on the bolt, one on the coolant nipple) to block off the flow. The correct way to do it is to have it welded.
