They have done some serious research and development. Low impendance injectors like bosch 1600's are harder to idle and have habits if doing wierd shit at idle and wot. Like lowering the injector pulse width and watching the A/F get fatter like whaaaaaa? Inconsistent fuel delivery, and use a lot of power to work a little. ID is basically just a bosch injector that is rebuilt with full SS insides, change it to a high impedance injector working at 8 ohms, and they just freaked it out. Alot of aftermarket ecu company's like proefi, adaptronics, microtech etc develop there ecu injector drivers using id injectors so they work most effecient inmo than other injectors companies in the aftermarket injectors especially when a standalone is installed.
