I really liked the stock look. My problem was tires were getting hard to find and it was even harder getting enough tire to keep traction. There are some options for brake improvements that fit under the stockers but they are limited. It really depends on what you are wanting to do with the car. If you're street driving with the occasional lazy canyon run, stock brakes are fine. They just can't stand up to sustained hard braking.
