Do not go with coilovers if you are forced to spend most your driving on rough roads, unless you can find a relatively soft set that are more compliant than SPL & PT's were.

I got away with it in OKC because TBH the roads aren't as bad as you make them out to be and depending on where you live the majority of the roads may very well be in very good shape if not freshly repaved. it wasn't hard at all to avoid the terrible ones without adding unreasonable travel time to destinations. That's the great thing about living in grid-based-routing cities in the American west.
