Message	On a vg in all the engines I have taken apart. Only time it was an issue was due to oiling issues. The vg crank is short and extremely rigid and while a dampner helps it's not really required. This is purely based on 14 years of experience pulling these engines apart. Harry Formerly yellowzxtt
