| ...I've only had it since mid-FEBRUARY; finally taking time to post! Well, I purchased this, my third TT Z & perhaps my last if I can keep from selling lol, from Ahmed - just outside of D.C. I flew in on a Friday evening, from Cincinnati, OH. to drive it home; here's a pic from the drive home that sums up its condition & need of attention: 
Having flown in late on a Friday evening / night I was unable to have a pre-purchase inspection performed; thus, I didn't quite notice how much inner-tire wear existed until I was on the side of road, waiting for AAA :( Anyhow, after some time driving it around, on subsequent days it was pretty clear the engine wasn't quite running on all cylinders. Fortunately there is a great group of guys around that know these cars perhaps like no other - Tim Davis & Brett Ramey: 
We began tearing everything apart, and found the timing belt looking like this... 
The engine's internals weren't much better so we did it right by replacing rings, bearings, etc., in addition to, a number of upgrades including Sport 550bb turbos (I believe profile is up-to-date). Fast forward a couple weeks, and I had time to work a bit on the exterior. While in Ahmed's possession I believe it had been garage-kept the paint left much to be desired. Here's a quick before/after some good buffing: 
Several months & nearly 700 miles later, here's how she sits today:

Again, BIG thank you to both Brett & Tim; you gentlemen are incredible! The Z runs like new, and I'm chomping-at-the-bit to really see what this thing can do. Next step, once entirely broken in, we'll have it dyno'd, and subsequently send out the ECU/graphs to Specialty-Z, for some remote tuning, to ensure the Z is safely/reliably producing higher boost.
