Message The Max Street is the nicest, feels like stock, holds the power, smooth. It does everything well, but is not a great drag race clutch.
Drag racing to do well requires dedicated equipment for launch to do well. Tires and clutch are the main ingredients.
If you’re going to the drag strip with street tires, the Max Street will hang because the tires will break loose before you hurt the clutch. If you’re going to put slicks or drag radials on, the Max Street is not going to like it.
The High 5 will do everything, but will wear twice as fast and is not as smooth, but still is very street able.

Nothing really in-between those 2, it takes a takes a very aggressive material to drag race well, this causes quicker wear and takes some smoothness away.
The Max Street has all the clamp load to hold power, the disc is modified to be more durable, but the material does not like to be slipped hard. Difficult to get 3800 LBS to catch up to an engine revving at 5000 to 6000 RPM and that’s what it takes to get a good launch with a 3 liter turbo engine.

So you need to decide if you want to give up clutch life to get serious at drag racing the few times you go.
