Message	What other alternative is there without the proper clip? You're not understanding the function of the clips and their design. The top of the clip has nothing to do with how the trim sits. The trim is held by the arms of the clip that catches the lip of the inside of the trim. The top of the clip is irrelevant; sanding it down only creates a gap between the top of the clip and the top of the inside of the trim piece. Cheers, JBrobst
