If you do, it will route the oil to the cam gears versus letting it drain out the back of the camshaft. My thought process is that if you are having oiling issues on road courses, there are only 2 different solutions on a VG: 1. Dailey Enginering Dry Sump 2. Switch to solid lifters / cams and delete the hydraulic lifters. An Accusump could be emptied if you are a really good driver on courses with long straights.
