So, if you de-pin that white connector to fish it through the firewall and then re-pin it, please note that there are 2 yellow with green stripe wires. If you swap these, you will be sacrificing performance. One of these wires is for the Speed Sensor input to the ECU. The other is for the check engine light output from the ECU to the light on the gauge cluster. The easy thing you will notice is that your Check Engine Light will not function. But what you might not realize is that the ECU needs the speed sensor input for VTC to work. Without VTC, you leave a lot on the table. I just discovered this a couple of weeks ago and the Haltech Platinum Pro reports it in their software right away. After correcting the issue, the software reported no errors. Unfortunately for me, the drivers side VTC isn't actuating because it appears there is a blockage prevent enough oil from flowing. Sounds like I have another project ahead of me.
