TD05's + the kit aren't awful, but used old turbos are always a crapshoot. Add in manifolds that can crack and external wastegates that can seize, the inevitable missing/unusable small parts and you are running a HUGE risk of future headaches of some sort with this kit. In return you are getting no better performance than if you just spring for brand new perfect gt2860rs with warranty, new hardware etc proven performance, closed downpipes, new reliable wg actuator...no headaches, no repeated engine pulls, no screamer downpipes. at 1500-1750, sure maybe the performance is worth the gamble if you have more time than money on your hands. 2k+ is an absurd price.

Of course you do. Anyone that buys brand new T series turbos in 2014 at retail prices is a complete fool. You seriously see a lot of people plunking down for new Sport 600's or T3's? of course not. Only complete noobs/ebay jokers talk about t28's anymore. It's not '02 anymore. There are a few people that stand up for sport 500's but thats because they are the best of the very cheap and very easy upgrades.
