Houston Z recently celebrated its 1 year anniversary. For those that don't know the history of Houston Z, in 2004 I graduated from Universal Technical Institute. In 2005, I started selling and trading parts on TT.net while servicing Nissans on the side of my full time automotive job from my apartment then my house in 2007. Then recently last year I decided to make the jump to a full time shop leaving my previous employer of 7 years. Houston Z now has two full time Nissan guru techs, Oscar Benitez and Pier Uberti. Both own or have owned 240SXs. Pier owns a S13 that he swapped a RB20det in along with upgraded internals. Oscar recently sold his S13/RB25det swap for a Z32 TwinTurbo that he purchased with no engine, and put it back on the road. We also have shop helper along with myself working on all makes and models but mostly Nissan performance! What we do in a nut shell for the Z32 is... everything. From basic repair and suspension to full engine builds with dyno tuning. From street cars to dedicated track cars. We have a the latest alignment equipment and Intercomp race scales for suspension. A few of the things we have to help us operate on these cars are Nistune, 300degree Nprobe, Snap on, knock spy, J&S knockguard for accurate and safe tuning on our neighbor's Dyno Jet. Naturally in the beginning 350Z 370Zs and Gs started rolling in for basic performance upgrades and repairs. We now do RB swaps in S-chassis, build SR20s, throw Nistune on anything that we can. We consider ourselves as Nissan / Infiniti specialists and not just 300ZX specialists. We tend to our customers other makes and models BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Chevrolet, Ford, etc. We also service many of the surrounding performances shops with our alignment and scale equipment. We are distributors for AshspecZ, BDE, Nistune, SPL, Stillen, and JWT. With many IPP engine installations referred to us as well. here are a few pictures of our showroom and shop
