Message Please re-read everything after "Because that's what it's for." I read everything you wrote, and I had already addressed the basic issues in my response before you ever replied. You're making it out to be a bigger ordeal than it is. It's just grease; if dielectric grease is the "cause" of connection woes, there's another inherent problem to blame besides the grease. Connectors work by metal touching metal, and a bit of grease won't keep that from happening without another cause (like a worn/bent/broken prong). The grease alone is not strong enough to form a barrier that would keep healthy, functioning connectors from staying that way. I could summarize your predilections toward proper use by simply stating "use common sense."

Cheers,
JBrobst
