If I added a relay that would kick on at mid speed it would be the same as letting the FPC handle it. And of course you would want it on at full speed when driving fast. I guess the only thing that would be considered different would be not letting it turn on until full speed kicked in. So I think you're right. I'll just let the FPC control both pumps at the same speed and add an output to make it easier to connect the second pump. Good. Less trouble on my part :)
