Message	The main point here is loss of power at lower speeds. The OEM pump only draws it's highest amperage when the car is crusing at higher speeds. And likewise, the alternator only supplies a higher demand at higher speeds. Our alternators are good for a stock setup and not much more. My idea of power delivery may be a little biased though :) Here is a good read on alternators. It does some good explaining in regards to loss of horsepower.
