One of the things that I have never fully grasped is the need for a fuel pump controller. Its seems like micromanagement of something that can be solved in a simpler way. I have my Haltech trigger a relay that sends a constant 12V to my first Walbro 4E85 pump....at around 12PSI the Haltech sends another signal arming my 2nd 4E85 pump with a constant 12 volts. The fuel pressure regulator handles any excess fuel. Clean and simple.
Bedsides extending the life of the fuel pump a little bit what is the point in being able to control the voltage that specifically? Why not just hit it with a constant 12V and replace it every 6-10 years?
