| My single biggest regret is not doing the EFI wiring harness when my engine was out. Will eliminate so many future headaches. I'd replace every rubber hose you can find with new rubber or silicone: All coolant lines, all vacuum hoses, PCV hoses, Power Steering Hoses (recommended to do high pressure hose too). Would recommend all the deletes you're willing to do: EGR, AIV, PRVR, Carbon Cannister. PCV could be considered too. Clean all the oil and grime out of your engine bay. If you can get a close color to match, get some sandpaper and high temp spray paint and touch up any areas you normally wouldn't be able to get to. Clean as much oil/grime as you can get off your engine and accessories too.
