But what I did was remove the front bezel from my timer since it's curved. Mounted a piece of lexan to the front in place of it, and then I could mount it flush to the back of the clock location. Of course that only helps with 1 of 2 items. If you're willing to give up a DIN slot, I did the same thing with my SAFC, minus not needing to remove the faceplate. Part of the problem mounting them so low in the bezel is a lack of depth behind it.
