Message	thanks for the input but i don't believe it is uncleared base coat. I will be doing my own paint and the exterior will be a 3 stage base pearl and clear. if it was uncleared base coat i don't think it would have lasted as long as it has because base coat does not have the hardeners in it to stand alone. they typically use some form of single stage paint like an enamel. it is usually the same general color less the metallics and there is no need for clear for because single stage has the hardeners in it. i just simply want to know if there is a nissan specific paint code for the under hood and trim paint.
