Hey all…been a long time since I have been on here….anyways, yanking the engine out of my 91 ttz in the next few weeks, and doing a bit of a performance make over. Engine has only a few thousand miles, but I am freshening it all up. I am considering a number of changes to parts, and here are my initial thoughts: Replace inconel (specialty z) manifolds, with MSP manifolds.
Replace Nismo 555cc injectors, with 740s, and Specialty z/300 degree rails/fuel setup
Replace 2.5” downpipes with full 3” downpipes, not sure if full 3” exhaust to mufflers
Replace eprom obviously, plus Selin kit
Add BDE motor mounts
Add bigger ic piping, inlet piping, and replace Stillen ic’s
Keep the RPS max clutch (should be ok, will inspect)
Keep the JWT530 turbos What other mods/maintenance should I incorporate while I have the engine out? I have been away from tt.net a while, and am a bit out of the loop! Thanks in advance…
