Message	I'm not too concerned about the stock drivetrain...looking into an LSX swap. I'm not an LSX fanboy by any means, but I have been reading up on e39 LSX swaps lately and it interests me quite a lot. Makes a hell of a lot more sense putting an LSX into this chassis than, say, a Z32 (for example). 540i's seem like a great candidate - the LSX/T56 fit like a glove if you use a GTO shifter. I only wish they had a steering rack/pinion like the 6-cyl e39's (which require cutting front x-member for LSX swap) but for my purposes I'm sure the stock 540i steering is more than capable.
