It's a pain in the ass to R&R when the engine is installed. It's a good thing to replace if you're still using the original one from 1995. It's likely hardened and the connectors may be brittle/broken/corroded due to all the heat cycles over the past 20 years. Using a new harness will solve a lot of potential headache in the future...such as going into limp mode due to a corroded knock sensor (personal experience with that one) and all the troubleshooting in between. Or connectors loosening since they're broken. Shameless plug - my brand new '95 twin turbo efi harness is for sale in the classifieds :)
