I have old school Nismo 555's and run Sunono 94 (10% ethanol) exclusively. I've had these for ~8 years and they're all still within spec and have experienced no issues. However, I accept that the clock is ticking and at some point they will fail. Back in the day, I would have swapped out the lower plenum during a timing belt job. The 300 degree rails offered another option. The thing that concerns me about the adapters, and I have zero evidence of this, is the longevity. How will these hold up after 10 years? 20? The more parts you add in, the greater the chance that one of them will fail/leak over time. I'd rather do it right, once, then have to worry in the future - especially after learning the lesson from the 555's. Anyone else have concerns around longevity or am I overly paranoid? -jb
