Message I've completed a few projects on the z lately, figured I'd share some of the progress. The first set of pics was taken at our local cars and coffee meet yesterday morning.

I recently installed a set of the '99 jspec headlights. I pulled them apart and modified the cutoff for lhd and the finished product is quite nice.

I also installed a set of BRZ limited heated leather/suede seats. This was an interesting project to tackle. I wasn't sure exactly how they'd fit height-wise, but after some measurements and test fitting I decided to give it a go. The fabwork was not too terribly difficult for me, but I've tackled several seat retrofit projects in the past so I've learned a few things along the way. The seat weight is exactly the same as the cloth manual seats my car came with from the factory. They are incredibly comfortable and aesthetically suit the interior nicely.

I struggled most with where to install the switches, and after a bit of consideration I decided on the center console beneath the ash tray lid. I didn't want the switches to be visible and gaudy to distract the eye in the interior, I sought a more subtle installation. On top of that fact, I've always hated that the cig lighter outlet required the ash tray lid to be open when in use and whatever was plugged in got in the way of my arm resting. For some time now I've wanted to relocate the cig outlet to a more inconspicuous location as well, so it all worked out quite nicely.

That is all for now.

Cheers,
JBrobst
