| dont want to be bothered to have to mod your car much into a track performer From what I gathered, while yes there are a lot of differences, the only real significant ones are the transmission gearing and cams. But if you are going to spend lots of money on modding a car up, my point was that I would prefer to source a coupe and simply do the brakes, wheels/tires, suspension, and power mods of my own choosing and you would likely end up with a Corvette at least as comparable to a Z06 without the downsides.
