Before i ordered these wheels i had my nephews set of his z and i prefitted them, they are 18 by 10 all around with 275 35 18 rear and 265 35 fronts We installed the wheels with out modifying the alignment at all and they all cleared as he has 35 offset on all 4. My car had 17 by 9 and 17 by 8 35 offset before and is lowered with powertrix coiloves , it was lowered to the point where i barely had one finger between the arch and the tire. So with out modifying this set up i tried my Nephews wheels ( He thought He had 25 offset so i thought well 22 wouldn't make a huge difference and i ordered a set) BUT After we installed the AME and saw how much they were sticking out we looked again at his set up and saw that he had 35 offset not 25. ..............
this is 35 offset 10 inch all around
The 22 offset is a bit more aggressive, and will clear if the car is not lowered much. with 2.5 degree rear and 3 degree front camber we stil had to roll the rear quarter panels plus grind off a peace of metal and some bumper where the bumper meets the quarter panel as it was rubbing there when the wheel went inside too much. In the front It is stil rubbing the fender liners when you fully lock it, so some minor adjustments has to be made. Front fenders we had to bend the tabs inside where the holes are to attach the fender liners. SO as you see there were some work to make these work. I would definitely prefer a better offset. My buddy kip on his z ran same wheels same offset but they were all 10.5 all around and he had to be aggressive with the alignment to make these work for him. Here are few pics of His Clean Z. After talking to my nephew we can still roll the rear quarter panels more and gain another half a degree of camber to save the life span of the tires but that would be it. On the front something has to be done with the fender liners. Hopefully this was helpful to some of you, as when i was trying to figure this out before i bought the wheels i searched and searched.
