Message The OEM bushings have a gap between them and the body, which is the whole reason subframe spacers are on the market, correct?

How large is the gap with OEM bushings? If the Whiteline bushings were made based on OEM bushing dimensions, then there SHOULD be a gap between them and the subframe. The fact that the SZ subframe spacers seem to work well with the whiteline bushings supports the idea that the Whiteline bushings are designed to the OEM bushing dimensions.

Specialty Z's webpage for their spacers says that the subframe floats by about an inch in stock form. Do the ES bushings have extra material to eliminate the need for spacers? Are the Whiteline bushings advertised to eliminate gap left by the OEM bushings?
