Message and the drama along the way!

My old wheels were 17' Stillen Enkei GTV with Brand new (Less than 500 miles on the tires) Michelin Pilot Sport Tires All Season:
Front 245/45/17 (17"x8").
Rear 245/40/17 (17"x9").

I first tried to get the Stillen Enkei 17" wheels refinished. Bottom line I was not pleased with the end result and decided to purchase new wheels.

The problem: I have large 4 piston Stillen AP Racing brake calipers with 13" drilled rotors on the front. I could not find a 17" wheel that would fit over the large brake calipers. Stillen has since discontinued selling wheels.

I ended up purchasing 18" Enkei Tenjin wheels and four new Michelin Pilot Sport Tires. My options were limited and I went the new tire route.

Now I have four, almost new, spare 17" Michelin Pilot tires on my old Stillen Enkei GTV rims already balanced sitting in my garage.
