Message was running and on the road for ZCon that year, the widebody had been completed, and he entered it into the show....and then he started all over again.

It's kind of like those chicks who get addicted to plastic surgery I think.

I can certainly sympathize with his desire to get into something that he wont feel tempted or necessary to mod. I still feel disappointment over spending almost 4 years in Germany and only putting less than 4k miles on my Z. Had I known it was going to incur so much downtime, I would have left it here in the US and bought something else over there I could really make the most out of the relatively short driving seasons with and then resold fairly easily.

"What a curiosity our new political correctness has made of our public spaces. Let your sex tape loose on the Internet and be rewarded with your own TV show;
photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience.
But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” — and polite society will find you offensive."
--Jared Silverman

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
--Winston Churchill

"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."
--Benjamin Franklin

"Government is not reason. It is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
"The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury."
--George Washington
