Several years ago I repainted all of my molding....however my windshield pieces were so far gone that the coating on them had already partially fallen off so it never looked 100% correct. It had been on my to do list for a while and I finally got around to it this weekend. This time I decided to take a different approach and go with Rust-Oleum Leak Seal followed by plasti-dip. My thinking on this was that the flexible rubber coating would look very close to the OEM appearance and would add the missing texture back. Worked great. The prep:
