So you don't think there would be any ill effect by chopping them off and welding in a plate, to bring the profile of the covers down? (other than the loss of the ability to do the PCV reroute) I actually had a question about the PCV reroute. The front PCV ports that hook up to the turbo inlet pipe, would it be possible to tap at that location for the reroute (on the opposite side of the ports)? I figure the answer is no because its pretty much in the vacuum from the front ports, and its not an optimal place to draw the vapors, correct? Sorry for my ignorance.
